Privacy FencePrivacy fences are a fantastic way to enclose your outdoor space and give you the much-needed security you are looking for while swimming, gardening, or just lounging on your back porch. Privacy fences are designed to enhance your outdoor space by barricading it further in order to decrease outside visibility and discomfort. Privacy fences can eliminate neighbors peeking in, or your children peeking out, but providing privacy for both parties.
Minimal Visibility Minimal visibility means that your backyard or porch space will be more difficult to see in and out from. While this doesn’t mean that privacy fences will block out sunlight completely, it does mean that your neighbors or the mailman can easily glance into your yard like before. Instead, privacy fences are designed at gridded angles that prevent visibility from the outside, but ensure that enough natural light is present from the inside. So, if you’re using your privacy fence to lounge outside and read a book, you will not be doing so in the dark. Ideal for Pets Privacy fences are especially ideal for pets because they’re often thicker and more durable than other forms of fences designed for just perimeters. If you have a pet that likes to run around the back porch or relax under the shade, you might want to consider a privacy fence for their comfort. This will allow them to relax in the backyard without worrying about them digging through or breaking a fence with more visibility, and it will ensure that any neighboring dogs don’t do the same to your side of the fence. Pool Privacy If you have a pool in your backyard that you’d like some security around, a privacy wall or fence might be the answer. Privacy fences can be installed at any height that you see fit and any color or design that matches your landscape or outdoor aesthetic. We also work with the shape of your pool to integrate a perfectly-fitted privacy wall that will decrease outside visibility from all angles of the pool. This can include installing mix-matched privacy fences, depending on which sides of the pool are visible to the outside, and integrating deck railing or fiberglass fencing for areas that are reached from the inward-facing side of the pool. Strategic Installation Enhanced privacy can be ensured with strategic installations techniques. Using any material that you deem appropriate (typically wood or vinyl), privacy walls and fences can also be installed on one or all sides of the yard for maximum privacy and security. We often recommend using wood or vinyl because they’re denser and can be aligned closer together without spacing or structural issues. We also find that most clients simply only want such walls or fences on the areas of their yard that are outwardly exposed to the main street, neighbors, or other courtyards. In installing a privacy wall or chain link fence, you can be sure that no one will have visible or immediate access to your open-ended yard. |
